Colton is typically a great sleeper - well as long as he's in his own crib. Last night the temp dropped so low that I was afraid he'd get cold since we didn't turn our furnace back on... I took him into the bed. Mistake. I got no sleep as this boy flops, pokes, grabs, kicks, head butts and tries to dive off all while in a deep sleep.
Tonight, I was on the couch and heard him screaming in hysterics. I went in and he seemed ok. He was in the same position-ish as when I tucked him in. I had the space heater on tonight and the room was comfortable. I picked him up and he continued wailing. I took him into the changing table in the bathroom and unzipped his PJs. His diaper was dry and he calmed down enough that I could plug him.
I cradled him up (he's getting pretty big and heavy) and went and rocked him. He placed his head on my shoulder. Did my baby have a nightmare? Was it that horrible? He was still in a deep sleep. We rocked for a while when... he let out a giant fart.
