 Is this the next Harlem Shake? Click on the image to see a demonstration. Colton has been working on his outstretched arms, wiggling fingers move for a couple of weeks now. It started out in the high chair when he would reach out and mommy would copy him and then grab his little hands.
Tonight at the barn he incorporated the move into a full-fledged excitement squeal. It's awesome.

The past couple of times Colton has eaten the hamburger meal provided at daycare his skin has turned very dry, especially on his back and back of his neck.
Daycare Stacey does such a wonderful job of keeping track of these things. She called me in my office to let me know that beans had replaced corn for the vegetable on today's hamburger day. I hadn't heard of people being allergic to corn, but I guess there's allergies to everything... We've been thinking the top teeth have been an issue for a while, and we've felt the bumps for quite some time. Today it's official the top left tooth has poked it's way through. Colton is actually a pretty awesome teether - no fever and very little fussing.  The final masterpiece. This took a lot of puke and tears (I assume). Apparently Colton was so excited about the construction paper, he ate it, gagged and puked. That was on Tuesday.
As you can see, the finished project was worth it. A Colton Mallet-Prevost original. We noticed a few days ago that Colton has a new move, the sit and spin... It is only clock-wise. We think it's related to his peg-leg issues. We sure do love our little bug. |
