The day started with SCUBA sinking (I wouldn't classify it as diving). IT WAS SO FUN. I totally want to get certified, but maybe after I do a couple of the other "I TOTALLY WANT TO DO" things.
Plus they told me I might have problems going super deep since I've had a collapsed lung and punctured ear drum. But I'll never know unless I try (but I'm getting old, so I'll probably "cosult my physician before...").
Lu and Chad arrived at the Nomad at 3 and I shortly after. And you'll never guess who was there - COAT STEALER! That's right John Sullivan - coat stealer. The dude that stole my $400 pea coat and gave it to another girl. He was/is a very dishonest person. I knew I'd never see the coat again so I went to the Wauwatosa police department and issued a theft ticket. I know he paid the ticket because otherwise I would have had to report to court... Anyways I hadn't seen Coat Stealer in about 6 years he was looking pretty rough. That's what excessive drinking does to a person... Anyway I made sure everyone knew my angst towards him.
I (like usual) thought I was pretty funny. He's such an icky person, I almost feel bad for him, but not really. People (I didn't even know) were shouting out things like "Watch your jackets" and "theft ticket" eventually the dumb ass caught on and I think he felt sheepish even though he tried to play it off. So we uneased him into leaving - it was awesome!
I was apparently in for the long haul and met a bunch of fun people and got to hang out with the crew. All in all it was a pretty fun night and I'm only slightly whiskey-dumb today.
