The trainer asked today via text who Robby's sire was.

I took this either to mean she wanted to know his pedigree because one of two things...

1. He was so awesome she wanted to know about his super fantastic bloodlines or

2. He was being so naughty she was trying to figure out which line in his pedigree was causing the problems.

Robby's sire is Mais Shah to the right.

Robby's complete pedigree is listed here - his registered name is not Khristopher RobinWLF, but I'm not a paying member so I can not change it. His registered name is simply Khristoper Robin.

I'm made a pinterest page with as many photos from his lineage as possible. -

Purple is not allowed - how about Giraffe?

My horse trainer in Minnesota pretty much hated everything that I had for Cobrizo when she was his trainer. Most everything he had was purple. I don't even really care for purple. It's because I buy things that are on sale, and purple just so happens to be the color of items that go on sale...

Cobrizo had a purple blanket, halter, leg wraps... and this horrible purple camouflaged blanket  - When I saw the blanket below online today, I had to send an image to her to see if I should purchase it for Robby - as I often joke that when you scratch his neck (shoulders, wither area, and chest) and he turns into a convulsing giraffe.

So tonight I saw this 'beauty' online. I had to send it to my trainer, Sarah Paripovich, and ask if I should get it for Rob. I'm sure she'll be ordering this for the entire barn.

Or more likely, she'll kick me out...

The Juvie Barn

Robby started the next chapter of his life. My mom loaded him up (he loaded with only her) and took him 40 miles to Sarah Paripovich training. I bit the bullet and realized with a new baby I could not devote the time to training a young horse- plus he lives 1000 miles away.

Mom told me she was quite impressed that he didn't freak out after unloading. He took in his surroundings and liked being brought to the back barn to live next to another young gelding who recently arrived. They are in the 'juvie barn.'  When mom told me this, I laughed pretty hard as it's quite perfect.

I hope he settled in. I'm sure there will be more updates as I receive them. I hope he's a good boy and that Sarah thinks he has what it takes to be at least a Class "A" hunter in the arabian circuit. If not, he'll come to NY and most likely dabble in dressage.

I am SO excited to be able to finally ride him myself
